1.High strength and toughness. The strength of short fiber is 2.6~5.7cN/dtex, and the high-strength fiber is 5.6~8.0cN/dtex. Due to the low hygroscopicity, the wet strength of recycled polyester is basically the same as that of dry. The impact strength is 4 times higher than that of nylon and 20 times higher than that of viscose fiber.
2.It has good light resistance. Light resistance is second only to acrylic. Recycled polyester fabrics have better light resistance. In addition to being worse than acrylic, their sun resistance is better than natural fiber fabrics. Especially behind the glass, the sun resistance is very good, almost comparable to acrylic.
3.Recycled polyester has good elasticity. The elasticity is close to that of wool, and when it is elongated by 5% to 6%, it can almost fully recover. Wrinkle resistance exceeds that of other fibers, that is, the fabric does not wrinkle and has good dimensional stability. The elastic modulus is 22~141cN/dtex, which is 2~3 times higher than nylon. Recycled polyester fabric has high strength and elastic recovery ability, so it is durable, wrinkle-resistant and non-scalding.
